BOARD OF EXAMINERS
The Board of Examiners is a board of
fifteen dedicated and consecrated women who are educated in
the doctrine, rules and regulations of the
Church
of God in Christ.
Their job is to test or give examinations
to women who have been called to the Missionary work and are
applying for license. Not only should the examiners be Holy
and have full knowledge of the doctrine of women's work, but
be able to properly interpret scriptures as well as practical
experience, but should set the climate for training and learning
for the new applicants.
Several credit hours of study involving doctrine and scripture
given by the Board of Examiners is one of the basic requirements
of passing the Board.
The State Mother or her assistant may
issue license without having the person appear before the
Board of Examiners. This is a special privilege granted for
reasons deemed necessary by the State Mother. The chairman
with a secretary and one or two of the Committee may at any
time examine Missionaries. During the absence of the chairman
and secretary, any three or four members of the Committee
may be delegated to examine Missionaries.
